{"id":28880,"date":"2024-07-29T08:16:36","date_gmt":"2024-07-29T08:16:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/consorcios\/edf-2022-swat-shoal\/"},"modified":"2026-05-22T12:40:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-22T12:40:26","slug":"edf-2022-swat-shoal","status":"publish","type":"consorcios","link":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/consorcios\/edf-2022-swat-shoal\/","title":{"rendered":"EDF 2022 SWAT-SHOAL"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAES is part of the international consortium developing the SWAT-SHOAL (Swarm and teaming operation of Manned &amp; Unmanned Underwater Vehicle SHOAL) project, selected in the European Defence Fund (EDF) 2022 call in the area of Underwater manned-unmanned teaming and swarms. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SWAT-SHOAL, which began in December 2023, will run for 36 months. It its being developed by a consortium of 20 entities from 12 European countries, coordinated by the Spanish entity NAVANTIA. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The SWAT-SHOAL project is developing the concept of a system-of-systems that integrates different types of manned and unmanned assets as a swarm to achieve greater efficiency in underwater missions such as surveillance, reconnaissance, mine warfare, collaborative engagements, or supporting amphibious operations. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/The-SWAT-SHOAL-project-selected-under-European-Defence-Fund.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13817\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">SAES\u2019s participation is centred:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>on leading Work Package 5 (WP5), focused on identifying technology gaps and defining future roadmaps to eliminate those gaps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>participating in the work packages related to: scenario definition and requirements capture, System-of-Systems requirements, platforms and components, communication technology.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>participating in the work packages related to simulating the demonstration, preparation and execution of the sea demonstration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/EN_FundedbytheEU_RGB_POS-300x67.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13811\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-28880","consorcios","type-consorcios","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/consorcios\/28880","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/consorcios"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/consorcios"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=28880"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
