{"id":28885,"date":"2024-07-29T08:15:17","date_gmt":"2024-07-29T08:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/consorcios\/edf-2021-epc\/"},"modified":"2026-02-23T11:16:29","modified_gmt":"2026-02-23T11:16:29","slug":"edf-2021-epc","status":"publish","type":"consorcios","link":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/consorcios\/edf-2021-epc\/","title":{"rendered":"EDF 2021 EPC"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SAES is part of the consortium of entities developing the EPC (European Patrol Corvette) project, selected in the 2021 call of the European Defence Fund, in the category: Offshore patrol vessel, theme: Modular and multirole patrol corvette.<\/p>\n\n<p>The EPC began in November 2023, has a duration of 24 months, and is being developed by a consortium of 35 entities (including beneficiaries, affiliated entities, and subcontracted entities) from 12 European countries, coordinated by the Franco-Italian entity NAVIRIS.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/corbeta-europea.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13813\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The EPC project is focused on the development of conceptual studies, up to the initial design, of a reference corvette-class ship, capable of carrying out a wide range of missions in future operational contexts. The design produced will lead to the development of a modular and flexible ship, more energy-efficient, more environmentally friendly and safe, and more interoperable and cyber-secure compared to current configurations.<\/p>\n\n<p>SAES&#8217;s participation in EPC is focused on the active management of the ship&#8217;s multi-influence signatures, including:<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013\u00a0Measurement and analysis of the ship&#8217;s underwater signature.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 Prediction and control of acoustic, electric, and magnetic signatures.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 Acoustic noise monitoring system.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 Digital twin for acoustic signature management and control.<\/p>\n\n<p>\u2013 Tool for evaluating the corvette&#8217;s detectability against naval mines.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/EN_FundedbytheEU_RGB_POS-300x67.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13811\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-28885","consorcios","type-consorcios","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/consorcios\/28885","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/consorcios"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/consorcios"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/electronica-submarina.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=28885"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
