The consortium brings together 21 organisations from 11 countries and is led by Naval Group Belgium.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project focuses on the Mine Countermeasures (MCM) domain and builds on the results achieved in its predecessor, MIRICLE (2021\u20132023), in which SAES also participated. <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXck5y7Qof5Au-5KqXsfRxxplTj7Gp8vDnH1oKW6gbwBU-DY_5q9PcYa9Bp6mbn83hR7V-koSPobXbB1wPwVwE4Wp-4fSqhN6vqAdw2NHexpPkXBRbkrWYAvPlXmaRJZdHjhySViCJnDGmC-Arc7R6w?key=_cebGKA1ClEoNtyEPik4bVsq\" alt=\"Diagram&#13;&#10;\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The objective of E=MCM is to develop a system-of-systems architecture comprising advanced, scalable toolboxes of autonomous vehicles and intelligent platforms, alongside decision-support functions, to address mine threats, particularly drifting, moored and buried mines. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> SAES\u2019s contribution to the project is primarily centred on the development and at-sea testing of a multi-influence minesweeping system, capable of generating acoustic, electric and magnetic influences, to be integrated into Navantia\u2019s Viento-class unmanned surface vehicle (USV)<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXca_n7i5RwsfeyLZzK24yYBKuX6_34o6emKJArsuAxHgQCP_542dqZ84rKi7j3BZ6fXCCvjx6373J1TfPsRAfWthqqsF-5T7m0dvkLEfwABe8j-i2m7lRcXXKZNhB2Dt7S8Pkl7GrQD9JcZVa2UvYI?key=_cebGKA1ClEoNtyEPik4bVsq\" alt=\"A group of people on a boat in the sea&#13;&#10;\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, SAES will develop a software tool for mine threat assessment and a system for reducing the electric and magnetic signatures of USVs.
