The cruise ships traffic is configured nowadays as one of the activities of most rapid growth, especially in environments as the Mediterranean Sea. <\/p>\n\n<p>Starting from these premises, this research has as its main objective to advance in the knowledge of the main characteristics of the acoustic and additionally the seismic radiations emitted by cruise ships in the Mediterranean Sea. Different characteristics of both types of radiations are drawn from a set of measurements performed with measurement system Multi-Influence Range System (MIRS). <\/p>\n\n<p>In particular, the study includes an analysis of the correlation between acoustic and seismic characteristics centered on showing common ones, in spite of their different underwater propagation features.
