Among these agreements is a contract with the Chilean Naval Aviation for the maintenance of the SPAS acoustic sensor and collaborations with Chilean company SISDEF, thereby strengthening its presence and commitment to advanced technology in the region.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/h3>\n\n<p>SAES, a leading company in underwater defence, announced today the signing of several key commercial agreements during its participation in Exponaval 2024, one of the most important naval fairs in Latin America, held from December 3 to 6 in Valpara\u00edso, Chile. This system has been operational since 2010 on the two P-295 Maritime Patrol Aircraft with anti-submarine warfare (ASW) capability of Chile.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW52346416 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>The SPAS is an advanced underwater acoustic signal processing system designed to detect, locate, and classify underwater targets, primarily submarines. The system analyses data collected by sonobuoys, providing precise and real-time information on the position, type, and characteristics of detected targets. This technology is essential for maritime surveillance missions and anti-submarine operations. <\/p>\n\n<p>According to Javier M\u00e1rmol, President and CEO of SAES, &#8220;this contract not only strengthens the relationship between SAES and the Chilean Navy but also underscores our commitment to the modernisation and maintenance of advanced underwater defence technologies and to closely collaborating to enhance maritime security in the region.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n<p><p>Moreover, SAES has signed <strong>a collaboration agreement with the Chilean company SISDEF<\/strong>, dedicated to developing System Engineering solutions primarily for defence and security, aligning with SAES&#8217;s objectives in the maritime and industrial fields. This collaboration aims to provide advanced <strong>acoustic solutions to the Chilean Navy, enhancing its operational and technological capabilities.<\/strong><\/p><\/p>\n\n<p>SAES President and CEO, Javier M\u00e1rmol, highlighted that &#8220;these agreements consolidate the growth and international presence of SAES, a fundamental strategic objective for our company.
