SAES ha celebrado hoy un acto de finalizaci\u00f3n del s\u00f3nar BMAS, el primer s\u00f3nar de la fragata F-110. Un hito significativo en el contrato de diez a\u00f1os valorado en 27 millones de euros para equipar con este s\u00f3nar a las cinco fragatas F-110. Este proyecto refuerza la posici\u00f3n de SAES como l\u00edder en tecnolog\u00eda submarina, respaldado por la transferencia de tecnolog\u00eda de Thales DMS (Thales Defence Mission Systems), y asegura carga de trabajo hasta 2030, mientras fortalece la industria local, necesaria para el suministro de materiales.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

SAES hosted an event in Cartagena today to celebrate the completion of the first hull-mounted sonar developed for the F-110 frigate. This crucial step is part of the contract ensuring the production of sonar systems for the five future frigates, thus securing workload until 2030. <\/p>\n\n

The partnership with Thales has been vital, enabling a transfer of technology which not only empowers SAES to manufacture, integrate, and test sonar technology for the F-110 frigates, but also to apply this expertise to future developments. The project has also enhanced collaboration with local suppliers, strengthening the national industry. <\/p>\n\n

SAES’s commitment to innovation and cutting-edge technology is reflected in its integral role in developing the acoustic environment for the F-110 frigate, which includes not only the BMAS sonar but also the AMS (Acoustic Management System), the SAS (Sonobuoy Acoustic System), and the ARS (Acoustic Receiving System). <\/p>\n\n

Through these achievements, SAES solidifies its status as a benchmark in underwater technology and reinforces its presence in major Spanish naval projects.
