He <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW183889575 BCX8\">showcased<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW183889575 BCX8\"> the model of the <strong>Diver Detection Sonar (DDS)<\/strong> \u2014 a high-frequency active system designed to protect ports, anchored <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW183889575 BCX8\">vessels<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW183889575 BCX8\"> and maritime infrastructure \u2014 and explained the roadmap for its evolution towards detecting unmanned underwater vehicles, strengthening underwater perimeter security. He also displayed the model of a <strong>digital hydrophone (SDH)<\/strong>, the foundation of signature measurement and acoustic environment monitoring systems.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW183889575 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW15599760 BCX8\" lang=\"EN-US\" xml:lang=\"EN-US\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15599760 BCX8\">As a long-range surveillance solution, he presented <strong>Ocean Sentinel<\/strong>, an <strong>autonomous system based on smart buoys<\/strong> and a <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun ContextualSpellingAndGrammarErrorV2Themed SCXW15599760 BCX8\">remote control<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW15599760 BCX8\">centre<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15599760 BCX8\">, aimed at early threat detection at a distance from the installation. This system was successfully <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15599760 BCX8\">validated<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW15599760 BCX8\"> during <strong>NATO REPMUS 2025<\/strong> exercises, in collaboration with the <strong>Spanish Navy<\/strong>, and is integrated as a complementary layer to the DDS for the protection of ports and critical infrastructure, with applications that can be extended to the <strong>aquaculture sector.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><strong><span class=\"EOP SCXW15599760 BCX8\" data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>SAES\u2019s proposal aligns with its R&amp;D&amp;I lines in marine and port area protection and environmental safeguarding in the marine environment, providing monitoring and deterrence capabilities that reduce
