Navantia Chairman Ricardo Dom\u00ednguez has visited SAES’s facilities in Cartagena for a working meeting with SAES Chairman Jos\u00e9 Javier M\u00e1rmol Pe\u00f1alver and the company’s Management Committee. The visit covered SAES’s key achievements, its most recent projects, and the lines of collaboration aimed at strengthening strategic technological capabilities for defence and security.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Navantia Chairman Ricardo Dom\u00ednguez visited SAES’s facilities in Cartagena this morning, where he held a working meeting with the company’s Management Committee. The meeting covered progress on SAES’s main ongoing programmes, the company’s technological capabilities, and its prospects for future development.<\/p>\n\n

Navantia is SAES’s principal shareholder, and the two companies share a long-standing history of collaboration on some of the most significant technology programmes for national defence. This cooperation has helped build and consolidate strategic capabilities for the Spanish Armed Forces, and is currently reflected in flagship programmes such as the S-80 class submarines and the F-110 frigates.<\/p>\n\n

The visit also served to reaffirm Navantia’s commitment to SAES’s development and to the shared growth strategy the two companies pursue around strategic defence programmes. That commitment helps strengthen the industrial and technological fabric of Cartagena and the surrounding area, supporting the creation of highly skilled jobs, attracting talent, and driving economic growth linked to high value-added activity.<\/p>\n\n
