The Executive Chairman of Indra Group, Ángel Escribano, and the President of SAES, Javier Mármol, signed the agreement at an event that took place at Indra’s stand during the fair.
Ángel Escribano stated, “Indra is committed to enhancing collaboration and joint efforts within the Spanish industry to develop cutting-edge solutions that ensure the sovereignty and strategic autonomy of our Armed Forces and allies, allowing us to compete at the highest level globally.”
Meanwhile, Javier Mármol remarked, “SAES is a highly specialised company in underwater acoustics and multi-influence systems, supplying advanced systems to the Navy, and is committed to collaboration as the key to open, more agile, and efficient innovation.”
Both companies are strengthening their partnership at a time when the need to secure free access to shipping routes, protect communications and energy infrastructures at sea, and ensure port security continues to grow. They are also preparing to support the Navy in fulfilling its Vision 2050, which emphasises maintaining the fleet at the technological forefront to adapt to an increasingly complex and volatile global environment.
