SAES, the only Spanish company that supplies anti-submarine-warfare systems, is involved in meetings with important companies of the aerospace sector.
The meetings took place yesterday 8th of may in the Andalusian Technology Park devoted to the aerospace industry and belongs to an aerospace-sector trade mission organized by Extenda (trade promotion agency of Andalusia.). This mission take place as a continuation of a previous trade mission held between the 23th and 30th of March in Canada and USA.
SAES is the only company in Spain capable to provide to airplanes and helicopters with anti-submarina warfare systems, area in which SAES is consolidated internationally. Specifically, ROASW and SPAS systems have been commercialized besides of Spain, in Brasil, Chile and Swedish.
SPAS system is a solution for MPAs. It is an acoustic system to detect, localize and track submarines and surface ships based on analysis of acoustic signals acquired by deployed passive and active sonobuoys both analog and digital versions. SPAS system works totally integrated into the Tactical Mission Center.
ROASW system is the solution indicated for naval warships and helos. Besides of being an powerful acoustic processor, ROASW provides interoperability among different platforms (surface ships as frigates or corvettes, helicopters, UAVs, …) achieving an common operations scenario among all the resources deployed.
